Quick answer
Notion currently offers 1 perk we've verified first-hand — including notion free for students and educators. Each requires claiming; none apply automatically.
Notion’s education plan is free for students and educators who sign up with a school email. The plan applies automatically once that email is in place — no coupon, no annual “student pack” application to forget. That is the verified perk: a free Education plan for schoolwork, clubs, and side projects, claimed on Notion’s education product page. The unused version is a student already paying Plus, or a teacher building a class wiki on a personal workspace. We do not invent a block limit or an AI-feature list; those change on Notion’s side. If you have a school address and you live in Notion anyway, switch the account door before you renew a paid plan.
