DISCLOSURE
Affiliate disclosure
In plain language, as the FTC requires and as we'd want it said to us:
Some links on HelloPerks are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up or buy something, the provider may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra.
What affiliate relationships change
One thing only: the destination URL of the "claim" link, and a label next to it. Pages containing affiliate links also display a disclosure notice at the point of recommendation.
What they never change
- Whether a perk is listed. Perks enter the database through verification, not through partnerships.
- How a perk is described. Descriptions are sourced from the provider's own published terms.
- Rankings or ordering. Perk lists are ordered by provider and category, not by commission.
Current status
We list perks from providers we have no affiliate relationship with, and that will always be the majority of the database — most genuinely useful perks (your carrier's bundled streaming, your card's purchase protection) have no affiliate program at all, and we list them anyway. That's rather the point.
